Our Day Out Workshops: Musicial Workshop.Tuesday 14th & 28th March. This is a FREE service that offers older people within the community a wide range of relaxed workshops to take part in, join us for the opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a cuppa and try something new in a dementia friendly environment. On Wednesday the 21st December we had a festive Christmas special of carols and festive songs. David Saunders, one of are hardworking dementia session co-ordinators along with his wife Joolz created a fantastic morning for the group. Thank to all you came and to everyone who supported and donated festive goodies.
If you have been diagnosed with dementia, you may be interested in the coming along to our weekly free sessions. These sessions run every Wednesday morning and are driven by a team of passionate volunteers and trainined staff members. If you are a carer that would like to bring someone along to a session, then we look forward to hearing from you.

The Hospital was awarded funding by the Department of Health to help launch the project.
With this money we have opened a new room named the Harold Moorhouse room in aid for carers use, an amazing Garden room with coffee facilities and a beautiful new garden welcome for all to come and visit. for more information please contact reception at the hospital on 01328 711996

Wells Area Carers Support Group
We would like to invite you to our group meetings if you are an in home carer looking after a relative, friend or neighbour. Someone who is disabled, has a physical or mental illness or who is simply elderly and frail and can not manage alone without your help.
This group is a free opportunity to have a break and make new friends. Meetings are relaxed and informal with a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit or other treat.
Our metings are held once a month on the second Thursday between 14.00 and 15.30 at Peter Collingwood Hall, Wells Methodist Church, Theatre Road, Wells.
Help with transport can be arranged, and sitting services may be possible through Crossroads Short Breaks at Short Notice Scheme on 0808 808 9876 or Voluntary Norfolk 01603 614474
