The Hospital was awarded funding by the Department of Health to help launch the project.
With this money we have opened a new room named the Harold Moorhouse room in aid for carers use, an amazing Garden room with coffee facilities and a beautiful new garden welcome for all to come and visit. for more information please contact reception at the hospital on 01328 711996
We now have a variety of weekly activity sessions here at the hospital for anyone living with dementia. These sessions run every Wednesday morning and are driven by a team of passionate volunteers and trained staff members. See below for our current programmes and contact us if you have any questions.

Wells Area Carers Support Group
We would like to invite you to our group meetings if you are an in home carer looking after a relative, friend or neighbour. Someone who is disabled, has a physical or mental illness or who is simply elderly and frail and can not manage alone without your help.
This group is a free opportunity to have a break and make new friends. Meetings are relaxed and informal with a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit or other treat.
Our metings are held once a month on the second Thursday between 14.00 and 15.30 at Peter Collingwood Hall, Wells Methodist Church, Theatre Road, Wells.
Help with transport can be arranged, and sitting services may be possible through Crossroads Short Breaks at Short Notice Scheme on 0808 808 9876 or Voluntary Norfolk 01603 614474
